Ikelite Olympus TG-5 | TG-6 | TG-7 Housing With Dome Port

Ikelite underwater housing for the Olympus Tough TG-5 / TG-6 / TG-7 - depth rated to 60 metres (200 feet). Large, easy to reach controls are provided for all camera functions except the Log switch. The new ABS-PC blend provides strength and corrosion free performance year after year. The light grey colour deflects the sun to keep the camera running cooler for longer and also provides a superior contrast for an enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen and o-ring seal. The cameras internal flash is not suitable to illuminate photos underwater, however, it can be used to trigger an external strobe setup via the twin fiber optic ports which are built into the housing. Any Ikelite DS series strobe may be connected using the Fiber Optic Converter 4401.01 and cord 4501 (neither included) (the AF35 is not compatible with this housing). Alternatively, a bright constant on video light can be used. A constant on light is not as bright as a strobe flash, but they do provide added versatility because they can be used for focus assist and for improved colours when shooting video. The lens port has a 67mm thread on the front for the easy attachment of external wide angle and macro lenses. Slightly positive buoyancy in fresh water. Two 1/4-20 tripod mount on the bottom of the housing allow for rotation free attachment of optional trays and lighting arms.

Ikelite dome port for FCON-T02 fisheye - the Olympus Tough TG-series cameras already shoot out of this world super macro, but have not really been ideal for ultra wide angle in the past. This special dome port is designed for use with the Olympus Tough TG-6 with the special Olympus FCON-T02 Fisheye Converter Lens and CLA-T01 Adapter attached (lens and adapter are not included). The Circular Fisheye Converter provides a circular fisheye perspective when the camera is set to 24mm, and diagonal fisheye capabilities when the camera is zoomed. The resulting image quality is spectacular, comparable to a Canon or Nikon 8-15mm Fisheye lens on a full frame DSLR body. It is the perfect combination for ultra wide angle, close focus wide angle, and over under underwater photography. The optical grade acrylic dome provides super sharp and bright imaging while being lightweight for handling and travel. The dome port replaces the standard flat port on the housing. Simply unthread the standard flat port and thread in the dome port. We recommend a rubber strap wrench commonly available at your local hardware store or the Ikelite Strap Wrench #0945.01 (not included). The included dome shade reduces reflections, protects the dome, and allows you to set the housing down on its face for easy assembly and disassembly. This dome port cannot be removed and replaced underwater. The dome port may be used with or without lens attached. Without the lens attached some reflections may be present when shooting towards a bright light source (like the sun). Compatible with the Ikelite Housing for Olympus Tough TG-5, TG-6. This port is not compatible with the Olympus FCON-T01 lens.
