Underwater housing dedicated for the Panasonic Lumix LX10 and LX15 digital camera models. Depth rated to 60 metres (200 feet). Perfect for scuba diving, snorkel, surf, pool and any other application in or around the water. Large, easy to reach controls are provided for all important camera functions except the flash open lever (flash most be opened prior to installation of the camera in the housing). Rear controls are marked with easy to see laser engraved symbols which never fade or fall off. The cameras internal flash location makes it unusable for lighting your subject underwater, but it can be used to trigger an external strobe setup via the twin fiber optic ports which are built into the front of the housing. For the best results it is recommended to use an external strobe setup such as the optional Ikelite DS51 strobe. Alternatively, a bright constant on video light can be used. A constant on light is not as bright as a strobe flash, but they do provide added versatility because they can be used for focus assist and for improved colours when shooting video. Slightly negative buoyancy in fresh water. The port features a 67mm thread on the front for the easy attachment of external wide angle and macro wet lenses. The new ABS-PC blend provides strength and corrosion free performance year after year with minimal maintenance. The specially formulated colour deflects the sun to keep the camera running cooler for longer and also provides a superior contrast for an enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen and o-ring seal. A spare 1/2-20 theaded accessory port is provided on the side of the housing for easy installation of the optional #47012 Vacuum Kit. A vacuum kit allows you to pressurise the housing to check for proper assembly prior to entering the water. The housing comes complete with an 0109 rear o-ring, 0200 vinyl port over and a 1cc tube of silicone lubricant.

Please note the warranty on underwater housings does not cover damage to your camera caused by water ingress. It is your responsibility to insure your equipment with a specialist underwater equipment insurance company, click here for a quote.
