Vacuum systems allow you to pressurize your underwater camera housing to check for leaks prior to entering the water. This vacuum valve fitting is for any Ikelite housing with a spare 1/2 inch accessory port. Additionally, it can be installed in place of the 1/4-20 top mount featured on all Ikelite DSLR housings produced since 2009. The valves low profile avoids interference with control operation. The included waterproof plug is secured to the fitting to prevent accidental loss. Includes vacuum pump with gauge. This valve is installed quickly and easily by securing one nut on the inside of the housing. The housing does not need to be returned to the factory for installation. Compatible with most newer housings with an opaque white front feature a spare 1/2-20 threaded accessory port. The plug of this spare port may be replaced with this vacuum valve.
