The Leofoto LV-284C carbon tripod is equipped with a levelling centre column. The LV-284C has four leg sections and when fully extended the centre column reaches a maximum working height of 156cm. The tripod comes with a BV-5 video head, which makes this tripod suitable for recording videos. The folded length is 56cm and the minimum working height is 22cm. This Manba tripod with levelling centre column has a carrying capacity of 4 kilograms and weighs 2 kilograms itself.

Features of the Manba Series
The LV-284C belongs to the Manba LV Series. A specific feature of this series is the platform (the spider) with built-in ball. The centre column with anti-twist groove is easily slid through the centre of the ball. Thanks to the ball you can not only set the desired height, but also the angle. After setting you make sure with the practical lever that it remains in position. The centre column can also be flipped, which is nice to be able to work low to the ground. The 10-layer woven carbon makes the LV-284C tripod strong, while still remaining light in weight at only 2 kilograms. Although this tripod is not heavy, it has a carrying capacity of 4 kilograms. This also makes the tripod suitable for carrying cameras with long lenses.

The tripod legs
You can adjust the height of the legs by means of the flexible FlipLock system. This allows you to loosen and secure a leg segment of the tripod in an instant. All Locks are covered with silica gel rubber for better grip. It is possible to operate the legs with gloves on. You can also adjust the tilt angle of the carbon tripod legs in three angles: 23°, 55° and 85°. At the greatest tilt angle, the tripod legs lie almost flat on the ground. This allows you to reach the minimum working height. In addition, the tripod is equipped with rubber feet, which prevent the legs from shifting on slippery surfaces. The integrated spikes become visible when you turn the rubber feet. The spikes provide more grip on soft surfaces.

BV-5 Video Head
The 28 cm long control arm of the BV-5 video head makes it easy to create calm and smooth tracking movements. The fluid cushioning of the head prevents shaky images. The handle of the arm is covered with soft rubber foam to prevent cold hands in winter weather. The arm can be placed on either the left or right side of the video head. The fluid head can tilt a maximum of 90° forward and 75° backward. In addition, the BV-5 video head can rotate 360° on its axis, with the fine degree scale on the 50 mm wide base plate making panorama shooting easy. The degree of friction is adjustable with a large user-friendly dial. An Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate is included.
