This variable polarising filter consists of two polarising filters, one which can be rotated in its cell to adjust the brightness. They reduce the amount of light entering your eyepiece. You can gradually dim the view when observing a bright object such as the Moon or certain planets which will increase the amount of details that can be studied. Suitable for 2 inch threaded eyepieces.

  • Light transmission can be varied from 40% down to as little as 1%.
  • Will not change the colour of the object being viewed.
  • Can also be used as single elements for daytime terrestrial use.
  • Suitable for 2" format eyepieces.
