LED light source for better power consumption and more precise colour rendering. USB 2.0 interface. Includes film holders for mounted slides and film strips. Comes with a padded carrying bag.

    Hi, yes this scanner is compatible with Mac OS X 10.8. Resolution is adjustable. With multi sampling on a scan at 3600dpi would take approx 36 seconds and at 7200dpi would take approx 113 seconds. Hope this is of help to you.

  • It mentions that the software works with Windows XP/Vista and 7, does it also work with Windows 8?

    Hi, yes the software will also work with Windows 8.

  • Does this optic film 8100 support iMac Mavericks 10.9.4.? I have the 7400 which will not load, frustrated or what ?
