Hi, yes this hood screws onto the filter thread fine. When the hood is in the extended position there is slight vignetting from the 24 to approx 35mm focal lengths but beyond this it is fine in the extended position. The hood can be pushed into the flat position which eliminates the vignetting at the 24-35mm focal lengths.
