Super multi layered lens coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides sharp and high contrast images even in backlit conditions. The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) ensures a silent, high speed AF function. Built in optical stabiliser (OS) to help reduce camera shake. The 9 blade rounded diaphragm creates an attractive blur in the out of focus areas of the image. Can be used with the TC-1401 and TC-2001 teleconverter (not included) to increase focal length even further (manual focus only when a teleconverter is used). 160cm close focus distance. 67mm filter thread. High precision, rugged brass made bayonet mount. Compatible with the MC-11 mount converter and the USB Dock.
