Perfect for landscapes, cityscapes, low light, indoor photography and the star filled night sky. Advanced optical design delivers top performance even at wide open aperture. Incorporates three FLD (F Low Dispersion) glass and four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements to minimize chromatic aberration. Super multi layer coatings reduces flare and ghosting and provides sharp and high contrast images even in backlit conditions. Minimum focus distance of 27 cm. HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) ensures high speed and quiet autofocus operation. 9 bladed rounded diaphragm creates an attractive blur in the out of focus areas of the image. High precision, rugged brass bayonet mount with a dust and splash proof design. Compatible with the Sigma USB Dock (not included). Comes complete with front lens cap, rear lens cap, built in lens hood and case with strap.
