I ordered a pair of Visionary HD 8x42 Binoculars as a Christmas present for my husband and discovered Bristol Cameras because of the amazing price. Ordered the items (at a price much cheaper than anywhere else I could find on the internet), item was completed and sat in my camera bag a couple of days later via recorded delivery. Although a delay occurred in the delivery of the items purchased this was down to a supplier issue. Communication was good and emails regarding expected delivery were resposnded to quickly. I would probably check items in stock and would strongly suggest that an 'in/out of stock' label could be attached to the more obscure items.

When I ordered my Sigma lens, it was out of stock but Bristol Cameras emailed me to inform me. A few days later I received another email to say that my lens had been despatched and would be with me within two days, however, it arrived that day. On two occasions recently I have sent e-mails asking for technical answers from Bristol Cameras and on both occassions I got very prompt courteous and helpful e-mails back. So far I have only bought one item from Bristol and this was delivered exactly as promised. A very impressive service which shows buying on-line can be very convenient, quick and lower cost and in my case I could not buy what I wanted in any High St shop anywhere!
