I recently purchased Sea & Sea YS-01 Sea Arm VII Compact Package online from Bristol Cameras and found their price the cheapest UK price on the web. Even though the product was out of stock at the time they kept me informed of when it would be shipped out. Once informed I received the product the next day. Ordered a tripod carrying strap, received e-mail to say that it was out of stock, new stock arriving within 2 weeks, or I could order another colour of which one was left in stock. I have to compliment your company on a truly first class service. The price for the Hoya filter was the lowest I could find from a reputable source. I registered onto your site getting an instant confirmation of membership. Having placed the order and choosing to pay by BACS. Bristol cameras was a great site to purchase from. Initially I was unsure as I hadn't heard of it, but when I asked around my friends they recommended it. The site is easy to use and my camera was delivered the next day. When I called to speak to someone regarding the order their customer service was very friendly and helpful. In addition to all of this, I have been looking for the camera I purchased for a while and this was the cheapest I found it anywhere, including from amazon. I cannot recommend this site more highly.

I recently placed an order for a camera bundle, and as i failed to notice that it included a camera bag, i ordered a bag separately. Bristol Cameras proactively contacted me to check if i really DID want the extra bag, and then amended the order immediately when i confirmed that i had mistakenly ordered the extra bag. In addition, the service they offered was very quick and efficient, the phones were answered promptly both times that i rang with a question, and i was kept informed at each step of the ordering process. From my experience, Bristol Cameras have managed to combine a premium service level with warehouse prices.

Bristol Cameras offer two on-line methods of payment We chose the option named BACS transfer. After receiving the bank details via email we initiated an on-line transfer from our bank and the money was in Bristol Camera's account within 2 hours via the Faster Payments option. The item should have been despatched when they received this payment - these are cleared funds. However it took at least 3 phone calls and 2 more working days before the item was eventually despatched. The company needs to get into the 21st century when it comes to on-line payments.

Your website is user friendly but being anxious about delivery times before Christmas I was disappointed that there was no delivery information / delivery options available on the website. This needs to be remedied. However it proved to be a blessing in disguise since it lead to my phoning for information. The conversation turned into an exploration of other products etc from a very helpful, sensible and well informed member of staff who left me feeling you were good people to do business with and I would certainly consider buying other equipment from Bristol Cameras in the future. The binoculars arrived 2 days later, exactly as advised and well before Christmas. Thank you.
