• Ikelite underwater housing for the Canon PowerShot SX620 HS digital camera model.
• Depth rated to 60 metres (200 feet).
• Perfect for scuba diving, snorkel, surf, pool and any other application in or around the water.
• Large, easy to reach controls are provided for all camera functions except the flash pop up switch (if using an external underwater strobe, simply open the flash prior to installation of the camera in the housing).
• The cameras full 25-625mm equivalent zoom range is usable in the housing without vignetting.
• The new ABS-PC blend provides strength and corrosion free performance year after year with minimal maintenance.
• The light grey colour deflects the sun to keep the camera running cooler for longer and also provides a superior contrast for an enhanced view of the camera, LCD screen and o-ring seal.
• The cameras internal flash can be used to trigger an external strobe setup via the twin fiber optic ports which are built into the front of the housing.
• Alternatively, a bright constant on video light can be used.
• A constant on light is not as bright as a strobe flash, but they do provide added versatility because they can be used for focus assist and for improved colours when shooting video.
• A press on fit macro adapter #9306.78 (not included) is available for the attachment of 67mm threaded macro lenses - wide angle conversion lenses are not compatible with this housing.
• The optional WD-4 Wide Angle Dome #6430.4 provides a wider angle of view underwater without the edge distortion, heaviness or attachment issues typically associated with an external wide angle wet lens.
• The WD-4 has a 0.75x magnification factor and simply slides on and off of the housings lens port.
• Slightly positive buoyancy in fresh water.
